Fine lines and wrinkles are a fact of life unfortunately. Illness and not using sunscreen daily are the biggest contributors to fine line and wrinkles. Most women have tried every over the counter product on the market to improve the appearance of the skin. Up until now very few successful treatments were on the market until now. Micro needling with a pen can finally help!
Collagen induction therapy or micro needling with a pen can and will vastly improve most of the fine lines and wrinkles we experience. Some people are buying derma rollers but unfortunately these rollers can not get into the small areas around the eye or the lines around the lips. This is where the dermal pen like the mesopen works wonders! Because of its small footprint it can get right under the eye and around the lips area where the roller does not. The tiny surgical needles puncture the skin making microscopic wounds into the skin that seal in a matter of minutes. These tiny wounds begin to heal from the bottom up and the outside in to smooth the skin and reduce the look of all fine lines and wrinkles. When the pen is applied all over the surface of the face, the entire surface of the skin smooths out and the look of the pore size improves. The mesopen can actually reaches the skin collagen and the plumping of the skin vastly improves. The skin is smoother, fine line and wrinkles improve over time and your skin takes on a more youthful appearance.
Sad to say in my past I have not used a good sunscreen here in Colorado. The lines under my eyes and upper lip were really bothering me. After 4 treatments with Robyn, the lines are really disappearing! I love micro needling.
Before each treatment, prescription strength numbing cream is applied for 25 minutes and then treatment begins. The face, neck, chest and hands can also be treated with very successful results. I also add a LED light treatment at the end to speed up healing. Four to 6 treatments and recommended every four weeks for these treatments. There is no pain and downtime is usually a little dry flakey skin for 3-4 days after collagen induction or micro needling. Then as the skin heals, the skin continues to improve. Results may vary.
